**ROLE**
Business Directors are the essential leaders of our account teams. Responsible for building our strongest relationships with senior clients and alongside the internal leads, drive the overall business, strategic, creative direction and overall account growth.
The key responsibilities of a Business Director are:
- _Operational: _When we run a tight ship it enables everyone to focus on what matters. You will oversee the overall operational effectiveness of the account based on the specific client partnership that is required. Ensuring that it is resourced and efficiently operationalised to maximise its performance. You will have the ultimate responsibility of mentoring and training the whole account team in order for them to grow and succeed in their roles.
- _Clients: _We believe that the most productive relationships are built when clients and agencies work in true partnership. You will be ultimately responsible for the overall agency partnership, developing excellent relationships with our key senior clients and partners. Working with them to shape the overall vision and direction for the account whilst ensuring the team is set up to deliver impeccable partnership day-to-day.
- _Work: _When there is smart collaboration and open communication, we can sharpen the work from good to great. You will lead the ultimate direction of the work for it to ladder up against the overall vision for the business. You will form best-in-class partnerships with the senior strategy and creative directors and work alongside the senior clients to set the overall direction for the business. You will oversee and be ultimately responsible for all outputs across the account.
- _Commercials: _The most successful agencies don’t just deliver great work, they’re profitable while doing so. You will be responsible for the account revenue, forecasting, growth, and profitability. You will set the direction for how to capitalise on opportunities to grow the business at every opportunity.
We need someone with optimism and enthusiasm, who can effectively lead the business and create a partnership of the highest standards whilst being ultimately responsible for team morale and the overall account direction and growth.
**EXPERIENCE**
We are looking for a highly experienced, wickedly talented and enthusiastic account person with a passion for the industry:
- At least 10 years of experience in a creative agency or similar
- Relevant experience leading complex client structures with experience building and owning senior client relationships across both regional and international brands
- Leading multi-disciplined teams, both internally and externally, with agency partners including media, data, platforms
- Relevant experience leading accounts that deliver complex integrated and social campaigns,
- Actively driving the creative output of accounts/projects to deliver on the overall account plan
- Financial management of large-scale accounts, including revenue, profitability, and forecasting
- Developing project and pitch proposals, including scoping fees, assembling teams and defining workflow processes
- Experience training and mentoring account teams, with responsibility for nurturing their career development and growth.
- Building presentation decks and collaborating with the team to craft clear and compelling creative sell-ins
**SKILLS**
- Strong relationship building skills (with senior clients and with senior partners)
- Able to work well with senior members of Strategy, Creative and Production to set the vision and overall direction for the account
- Strong ability to motivate the team to achieve the vision and ambition
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Flexible and agile, able to think on your feet and pivot / adapt quickly
- Solution oriented, able to come to the table with a game plan
- Ability to foresee challenges and risks, ahead of when they happen
