**Fleet Marine Director**:
This position is a Senior Management role in the company.

**Job Description
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining safe, cost-efficient and environmental operational standards in compliance with STRAITSHIPS of a given Fleet.
- Leading the HSSQE Team in their daily activities and make sure that all vessel operates comply with statutory and relevant classification societies’, authorities’ rules and regulations, as well as owners and charterer requirements.
- Organise SIRE inspections and enhance good working relationships with oil-majors and terminal vetting teams.
- Organise Company internal audits, management review and emergency drills as per yearly schedule;
- Ensure the quality of work in the group complies with customer expectation and complies with recognized ship management standards.
- Monitor the vessels’ performance trend and take necessary remedial actions to optimize operations.
- Investigate accidents or major-incidents and report to the management with preventive measures
- Analyze records of incidents, near-miss, deficiencies and observations to determine the root-causes and address corrections and preventive actions for avoiding recurrences;
- Study latest conventions, changes in industry practices and keep the Company and ship-staff updated by issuance of relevant information sharing as per circulation procedures;
- Any other projects or responsibilities assigned by the top management.

**Job Requirement**
- Possess Class 1 Professional Certificate of Competency ( Master Mariner) is a must;
- Minimum 5 years of sailing experience on petroleum-tankers (as Master)
- Management level experience for more than 10 years of relevant experiences;
- Good knowledge of SIRE inspections;
- Analytical, problem solving, time management and decision-making skills;
- Ability to respond positively to customers in an effective manner;
- Demonstrates leadership, teamwork, interpersonal and communications skills.
- Need to frequently travel and work in overseas offices most of the time, i.e. UK, Dubai.
