We are a North Indian Restaurant located at Tanjong Katong Road, Singapore.

We have a vacancy for a Chef. You should be conversant with North Indian Cusine; both tandoori and curries.

We specialize in traditional recipes and styles of cooking. You should be aware of 'Bhapa’ (steaming), ‘Bhunao’, ‘Dum’, ‘Talna’ (frying), ‘Sambaar’ (tampering), ‘Sekhna’ (pan roasting) techniques of cooking as well as able to manage a Tandoor and a Roomali Tawa. You should have the ability to cook items like 'Chaat' (Indian street food) and Indian Desserts.

Your job scope will be:

- You will be managing the Indian Tandoori and Curry Section.
- Maintain top quality standards in the restaurant and hygiene to achieve an A rating from SFA and follow all safety standards.
- Manage all aspects of operating the kitchen, including procurement and inventory management.
- Manage kitchen housekeeping and cleaning.

We work six days a week, split shift (two-hour afternoon break) and forty-four hours a week. Subject to your consent, you will be expected to work on Public Holidays. Monday is an off-day and weekends are busy workdays.

Accommodation, transport and meals shall be at your cost.

Your appointment contract will be as per MOM rules and guidelines.
