We are looking for a Web3 Technology Researcher with a background in computer science or cryptography. This role involves both conducting technical research and assisting investment managers in evaluating the feasibility of technical Web3 projects for investment.

DFG currently has team members based in Singapore, other regions in Asia, North America, and the Middle East.

**Key Responsibilities
Technical Research:

- Conduct in-depth research on topics such as zero-knowledge cryptography, secure multi-party computation, and consensus mechanisms.
- Write high-quality research articles, technical reports on emerging technologies and trends in blockchain and distributed systems.

Technical Evaluation:

- Assist investment managers in conducting due diligence on technical Web3 projects, assessing their feasibility and potential value.
- Provide technical support to the investment team, answering questions and clarifying technical aspects of projects.

Project Optimization:

- Participate in and optimize both closed and open source projects(portfolio company) to enhance quality and performance.
- Develop and implement novel cryptographic algorithms, protocols, and techniques to improve data privacy, security, and scalability of portfolio company projects.

Industry Collaboration:

- Collaborate with internal and external teams within the Web3 community to drive technical innovation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cryptography, blockchain, and related fields by attending conferences and participating in academic and industry discussions.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cryptography, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of post-graduate work experience in the Web3 industry.
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptographic algorithms, security protocols, and consensus mechanisms.
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to independently write high-quality technical articles and reports.
- Experience in assisting with the evaluation of technical projects for investment is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Passion for Web3 technology and a commitment to continuous learning and exploration of new technologies.
