**Manager / Senior Trader (Business Agility and Analysis)**

**Trading & Portfolio Management Division / Prompt Trading Section**

**Reports to: Senior Manager**

**Your role**:
**1. Electricity and Gas Trading Optimisation**:

- Execute approved and compliant market trades and nominations in Power and Gas Markets (Shift work)
- Ensure physical delivery of power through close coordination with power plant on generation dispatch and constraints.
- Optimise and extract value as a portfolio basis through close coordination with internal and external business functions.

**2. Business Agility**
- Lead regular upkeeping, documentation, calibration, and validation of optimisation tools and systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Translate/operationalise analysis, ideas, and roadmap into practical tools, dashboards, and processes.
- Develop efficient data storage and subsequent ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Provide regular updates on business performances and market conditions to management.

**3. Analysis**
- Deploy descriptive/diagnostic/predictive/prescriptive analytics on business performance and market conditions to guide trading decisions.
- Collaborate with other business functions to integrate market data into models and tools.
- Analyse Singapore’s regulatory and policy developments, and assess impacts to Senoko’s position, strategies, and trading tools.
- Keep abreast of latest market intelligence and trends to inform trading strategies.

**4. Staff Management**
- Manage and lead one head count within the Business Agility and Analysis team
- Provide regular coaching to team member to support their professional development.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that promotes knowledge sharing and innovation.

**Your Profile**:

- University degree in Engineering/Finance/Business
- 3-5 years working experience (Power and Gas industry is preferred but not mandatory)
- Good analytical skills
- Programming skills will be beneficial
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to motivate junior staff to perform at optimum level
- Good working relationship with all stakeholders
