Senior Infra Technology Specialist

As an Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer working for an Enterprise system integrator, you will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of complex Enterprise IT systems for diverse clients. Your key areas of responsibility will include:
System Design and Architecture:

- Collaborate with clients and internal Pre Sales to understand their business needs and technical requirements.
- Develop comprehensive infrastructure solutions together with internal Pre Sales, including network, storage, and compute resources with the Pre Sales.
- Create detailed design documents and architecture diagrams to guide implementation.

Implementation and Deployment:

- Deploy and configure hardware and software components based on the design specifications.
- Install and configure servers, storage systems, and networking equipment.
- Ensure that installations are completed on time and within budget while meeting quality standards.

System Administration and Maintenance:

- Perform regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement corrective measures.
- Manage system backups, disaster recovery plans, and ensure data integrity.

Network Management:

- Design and implement secure and efficient network infrastructures.
- Manage network configurations, including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Troubleshoot network issues and ensure mínimal downtime.

Security Management:

- Implement and manage security measures to protect client systems from threats.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.

Client Support and Collaboration:

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients.
- Collaborate with client IT teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of systems.
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation to support client IT staff.

Project Coordination:

- Manage infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Maintain project documentation and report on progress to stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Identify opportunities for improving existing systems and processes.
- Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance client IT infrastructure.

Technical Skills and Experience:

- Network Administration: Experience with configuring and managing routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Server Management: Proficiency in managing Windows and Linux servers.
- Virtualization: Hands-on experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization technologies.
- Cloud Computing: Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and deployments.
- Storage Solutions: Familiarity with SAN, NAS, and other storage solutions.
- Security Practices: Understanding of network security, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and security protocols.
- Scripting and Automation: Skills in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation tasks.
