**Duties and Responsibilities**

Develop novel indices and metrics to assess social impact.

Related tasks will include the following.
- Horizons scan the latest best practices in measurement and verification of impact and sustainability.
- Compile, analyze and combine a range of social, economic and environmental data, inclusive of internal data, open publications, research papers and government statistical reports.
- Contribute to the development of advanced impact measurement solutions with associated theory and development research
- Perform economic modelling of impact outcomes, either in specific sectors or at aggregate country/regional level. - Gather input from in-house and external experts.
- Identify avenues for outreach development, such as participation in relevant conferences, newsletters, competitions etc.
- Help build GreenArc’s brand through targeted media e.g., LinkedIn, website, blog writing etc.

In addition, the intern will support the business office in managing the daily operations of the firm as well as help structure and develop new projects that GAC may develop, while also contributing to GAC’s other areas of work

**Requirements**:

- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Demonstrable interest and experience in ESG/impact investment/sustainability themes
- Familiarity with sustainability and ESG regulatory requirements across different markets
- Knowledgeable about key industry reporting practices including TCFD, SDGs, IFC, IFRS
- Passionate about crafting original content for digital marketing and branding
- Able to produce decks and proposals required to solicit investments and grants
- Minimum level of understanding of basic financial concepts
- Enjoys the innovative fast-moving environment of a start-up
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong work ethic, detail oriented and a passion for excellence
