**What a Business Development Manager - Financial Institutions (FI) does at Visa**:
The Business Development Manager (FI) will manage all aspects of the relationship between Visa and assigned FI clients.
**Account Management for** **FI** **Clients**
- Direct Account Executive (AE) responsibilities for a group of assigned FI clients and supporting the senior business team with existing Tier 1 FI Clients in Singapore.
- Manage overall FI client relationship and identify new business opportunities with the aim of driving incremental payment volume and revenue.
- Conduct regular client update meetings, account planning, executive reviews, QBRs, Leadership updates with expected operating discipline.
- Active listening of needs to deliver a solutions-oriented approach with FI clients.
- Drive FI client and Visa priorities by being the internal voice of the client and the external voice of Visa.
**New Business Development for** **FI** **Clients**
- Understand FI client’s needs and challenge statements to identify potential opportunities.
- Leverage FI client stakeholder relationships to validate all new business opportunities.
- Lead new business opportunities discussions including structuring commercial deals, project management and expanding Visa’s product penetration within FI clients.
- Support sell in of Visa value added services (e.g. Data & Analytics, Marketing Services, Risk platform solutions) to drive net new revenue sources for Visa.
- Work with internal teams and external partners (where necessary) to scope new use cases and payments flows in Singapore market (e.g. B2B payments, Wealth Management, Reward solutions).

As part of the Business Development Team, you will be serving at the core of Visa, advancing innovation and generating direct revenue for our client and Visa.
**Projects you will be a part of**:
You will have responsibilities for a group of assigned FI clients and supporting the senior business team with existing Tier 1 FI Clients in Singapore. You will also identify and qualify new business opportunities and build relationships with FI clients. The role will involve structuring partnership proposals, and pitches to FI clients, to help Visa win new business and deepen partnership. You will work with FI clients in Singapore, and the Visa cross-functional teams locally and regionally to implement Visa product and services.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both home and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three days a week, Monday (Sunday in some countries where Sunday is the start of the week) and Wednesdays. Wednesdays are designated as in-office collaboration days. The third day in the office will be decided based on team needs and determined in partnership with senior leadership.
