We invite applicants to join CMA Ships for the opportunity of Crew Payroll Executive.

**Key responsibilities include the following**:
Manage all payroll related matters for seafarers on board Singapore & Non-Singapore Flag Vessels, ensuring all seafarers are paid correctly in accordance with CBA, Company T&C and in compliance with MLC 2006.

Assist in checking the vessels’ payments & deductions on monthly basis

Administer vessels’ monthly accounts thru’ TOUCH On-Board modules.

Liaise with agencies’ network for all clarifications / discrepancies found from expenses’ amounts declared thru the Incidental Expense Module in TOUCH system

Assist with all manual entries for all monthly payroll components in the respective payroll software’ prior to monthly payroll processing.

Liaise on insurance matters pertaining to medical insurance for seafarers and active members and verification of invoices linked to the insurance schemes.

Working (and follow up) closely with CMA Ships Singapore Finance Department for all payments processed through CMA Ships Singapore accounts.

To perform random checks on all Seafarers’ monthly payments; ensuring allotments are well received in their bank accounts.

Participate in discussions of software improvements, propose new solutions to processes.

Assist the payroll team / perform ad hoc tasks as requested by Crew Payroll Manager / Deputy

Minimum Qualifications

Preferably two years of working experience in payroll preparation and processing

Preferably Bachelor’s degree

Good command in formal English, both spoken and written.

Personal Attributes

Good interpersonal skills, ability to deal with confidential and sensitive data

Meticulous, analytical, and high sense of compliance and organization skills

**This role is opened for local employment only.

We will only consider applicants who have received, or are willing to receive by the date of recruitment, the full regimen of a WHO EUL vaccine (examples include Pfizer-BioNTech/COMIRNATY, Moderna, Sinovac-CoronaVac, and AstraZeneca). Proof of vaccination will be required.
