Our client,
**iLOQ** is a Finnish growth company with the mission to transform mechanical locking into highly-functional and immensely-secure digital access management.
**iLOQ** provides self-powered digital locking and mobile access management solutions that have disrupted the locking and security industry. iLOQ innovative technology and software are developed and patented by themselves - enabling electronic locking and access management without batteries nor cables. iLOQ headquarter is based in Oulu, Finland.
**iLOQ** has successfully established its operations in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Benelux, France, Spain, Canada, UK & Ireland, North America and the Middle East.
**iLOQ** is now expanding with its own office in the SEA and is looking for a Regional Sales Director to lead that journey. Reporting will be to the Chief Commercial Offer who is based in Scandinavia.
For the right individual, this is an opportunity to build a presence in SEA for a leading company. Remuneration is competitive and based on individual and team performance.
**Role description**:
- The Regional Sales Director is expected to use all available means to create demand pull-through from end-users across all segments. This will be done by direct end-user activity by the Regional Sales Director themselves, through the sales team and by utilising Marketing tools such as LinkedIn campaigns to generate end-user interest.
- Deliver training to Partners and support/direct their sales activity (and after-sales interaction with end-user customers).
- Recruit and manage staff.
- Sales management; Inspire and lead the sales team to achieve good sales results.
- To support sales and project management.
- Co-operation with country managers and the iLOQ management team.
- Produce business performance reports & forecasting by use of existing tools CRM & Power BI.
- Daily contact with potential clients/clients.
- Annual development plans with team members and convert those into action plans.
- Member of the Global Sales Leadership team.
- To drive the iLOQ culture and values in the local organization.
**Ideal background and experiences**:
- About 5 to 10 years of experience in sales of locking systems/access control or systems/technical solutions to large client organisations (B-to-B business) within iLOQ strategic segments.
- Sales leadership experience.
- Proven track record of growing new business within the same line of business or closely related business.
- Technical knowledge.
- Experience in working with international companies, establishing and executing efficient business plans in companies with their products and being active in a local market.
- Ideally P/L experience.
- Experience in establishing and executing efficient business plans for a company with its products and active in a local, regional market.
- Senior manager but "an eager salesman and inspiring team leader" with an entrepreneurial mindset.
