**What the role is**
- You will be part of the IWMF Project Planning team (Civil and Structural) working on the development of the Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) - a large-scale waste management infrastructural project. You will work closely with the appointed consultant and stakeholders to ensure overall project delivery as well as meet project timeline and the various milestones.

**What you will be working on**
- You will be responsible for the following:

- Review the method statements for construction of temporary and permanent works, structural design submission, safety and quality assurance and to resolve technical issues;
- Verification of invoices & payment claims and review of variations orders;
- Conduct site inspections to ensure all engineering works comply with all relevant statutory standards, regulations and Code of Practice;
- Ensure that the design and construction work meet all technical requirements in accordance with contract specifications;
- Monitor project budget and cost reporting to NEA’s Finance and Procurement Department;
- Manage project stakeholders, multi-disciplinary consultant, site contractor team, Accredited Checker and other parties involved in the project;
- To identify potential design and construction related issues or contractual disputes and effect with appropriate solution;
- Review of Design for Safety documents and to ensure site safety requirements are adhered to on site; and
- Coordinate with other Agencies on any development issues.

**What we are looking for**
- Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by Singapore Professional Engineers Board
- Knowledge and experience in planning, design and implementation of mega projects from commencement to completion
- Familiar with local statutory and regulatory requirements,
- Good knowledge of geotechnical works and BIM
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Prior project management or quantity surveying experience will be an advantage
- Good interpersonal communication, presentation and writing skills
- As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
