Account Manager

Leading an Account Management team of approximately 3-4 people.

Responsible for ensuring that the team achieves targets and that the company has strong long-term partnerships with all managed accounts.

This involves managing business from existing accounts, developing new business, onboarding new accounts and growing business levels in line with agreed targets.

The role is approximately 75% team management and 25% account development.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for ensuring the highest levels of customer service are delivered at all times
- Finding serviced apartments for our clients and ensuring you and the team adhere to agreed SLAs
- Taking enquiries and making reservations for high values clients
- Building solid relationships with clients and property partners
- The ability to negotiate the best rates
- Responsible for ensuring that the team achieves targets
- Responsible for account penetration
- Constantly seeking out and following up on new business leads
- Responsible for keeping up-to-date client profile for each managed account
- Work closely with the finance department to ensure that money owed is received
- Regularly meeting assigned accounts and reviewing business opportunities
- Ensuring that the reservation process is accurate and well controlled within the team
- Handles all minor complaints whilst escalating major complaints to Director
- Responsible for ensuring the team's quote style matches the business guidelines
- Spot check quotes & reservation administration for the team
- Sets an impeccable example - service, presentation, attitude
- Maintains strong relationships with property partners by attending as many events as possible
- Supporting fellow account managers & other business units when required

**Experience**:

- Relevant industry (serviced apartment) experience is essential
- Business development
- Account management
- Up-to-date knowledge of the industry
- Good relationship with finance

**Skills**:

- Strong communication skills
- Excellent verbal & written English
- Additional language is preferable
- Strong leadership skills
- Good numeracy skills
- Good organisational skills

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $66,800.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

**Experience**:

- Account management: 3 years (preferred)
- Travel Management: 1 year (preferred)
- Serviced Apartment: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Singaporean Citizenship (required)
