Are you an account assistant with a growth mindset, looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the education sector? If so, we have the perfect role for you United Language Centre (ULC), a leading language school and community hub for expats in Singapore, is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Account Assistant to join our team. As an account staff at ULC, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our financial processes, managing accounts, and ensuring the smooth financial functioning of our educational services.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Record all daily transactions both in spreadsheets and quickbooks software.
- Update the status of the payment and its corresponding contracts in the spreadsheet.
- Invoice processing - A/R receivables, A/R ageing summary every month.
- For A/R receivables - Liaise with internal sales staff only.
- Check students' credit balance every month using a spreadsheet.
- Record and label the new asset purchase and update the asset list in the software.
- Maintain the Asset register.
- Receive, record and bank in cash transactions.
- Prepare reports. Filing of documents.
- Maintain both digital and physical files.
- Respond to financial inquiries from employees and vendors.
- Knowledge of ledgers and journals(Not Mandatory).
- Bank Reconciliation(Not Mandatory).

**Requirement**:
A Diploma in Accounting or any relevant field.

At least 1- 2 years of relevant working experience

Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software - Quickbooks Online(Not mandatory), typing skills.

Exceptional time management.

Professional manner and ability to multitask and remain motivated.

Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.

Team player mindset and good work ethic.

Trustworthy, reliable and possesses a proven ability to ensure completion of work with mínimal supervision.

Ability to problem-solve, multitask, and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
