**Where you would add value**
Reporting to CEO with a dotted line to the Chief Commercial Officer, the role is responsible for developing and executing Amplify Health’s marketing and communication strategies to drive brand relevance, build brand awareness, consistency and generate demand. The Head of Marketing & Communications will work closely with the leadership and wider team, in particular Propositions, Commercial and People & Culture colleagues to understand the target audience, develop messaging and positioning, plan and execute a wide variety of internal and external communications activities.
**How you would make a difference**
- Develop the company’s overall marketing and communications strategy and budget that drives brand, reputational, and commercial growth
- Translate Amplify Health’s product value propositions into compelling marketing collateral for customers, prospects and internal audiences
- Create and execute marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, social media, events, and content marketing
- Build and manage the company’s brand and reputation through media relations, public relations and thought leadership
- Develop best practices for demand-driven thought leadership, attributable content marketing and social media marketing to facilitate commercial growth
- Develop and execute internal communications strategies in close collaboration with the People & Culture team to ensure employees are engaged
- Collaborate with the Propositions and Commercial teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new products and features
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing and communications campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly
- Manage media relations, including new releases, social media engagement, interviews, crisis management and business sustainability
- Lead and motivate the Marketing & Communications team
**What you need to be successful**
- Experienced marketing and communications professional, with 10 - 15 years’ experience
- Experienced in working at a technology start-up or high-growth B2B business
- Demonstrated track record at delivering marketing and communications solutions, developing brands, and using a multi-channel approach
- Willingness to “roll up your sleeves”, collaborate and get things done
- Experience of and up to date knowledge of B2B digital communications and marketing strategies; web design, social media, search engine optimization and data-driven digital marketing
- Know how to develop a coherent marketing plan that is aligned to organization strategy and business plans, develop budgets, and give guidance/direction to colleagues to maximize team effectiveness and individual performance
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily
- Proven ability to maintain conviction in high-pressure situations involving strong personalities and be able to communicate effectively across all disciplines of a complex, matrixed, and rapidly evolving organization
- Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment, strong attention to detail along with organization and follow-through skills
