**Financial Control Officer (6-month contract)**
Our client, a highly regarded bank, seeks a motivated Private Banking Financial Control Officer to join their dynamic Finance team on a 6-month contract.
- In this role, you will play a pivotal role in financial reporting for Head Office, local statutory and MAS regulatory reporting, GST, and corporate tax filing. In addition, you will perform daily financial accounting activities, including payment processing, journey entry posting, cost allocations and account reconciliations, etc. You will also support various ad hoc projects and provide inputs and value add in reviewing system processes and transactions accounting.
- To be considered for this role, you should possess a minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience in the banking industry, along with a university degree in Accounting or Finance. Proficiency in accounting and regulatory reporting, including a deep understanding of tax and GST regulations in Singapore, is essential. A strong grasp of IFRS/FRS, MAS returns, and expertise in tax and accounting-related matters is highly preferred. Knowledge of VBA knowledge and advanced Excel skills would be advantageous.- EA: 22S0952
