Reporting to the Director, the Financial Controller (FC)/ Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is part of the Executive Management team and will be actively involved in developing and steering short term and long term strategic financial objectives and business goals of the company. The FC/CFO has the overall responsibility for the strategic planning, implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities of the group, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk and governance and extends to investor relations and partnership compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Knowledge in preparing group consolidation
- Experience in forecasting and budgeting
- Provide leadership, direction and management of the team
- Provide commercial insight and strategic recommendations across the business in order to meet and exceed business plan targets
- Provide business insights and drive long-term business and financial planning
- Oversight in execution of merger and acquisition activities and capital markets operations
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities
- Oversight in reporting, risk and control, budgeting and forecasting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, operations, corporate finance and project financing activities
- Oversight of governance, regulatory compliance and matters relating to enterprise risk management
- Responsible for ensuring the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the group
- Monitor key financial and operational metrics and formulate strategic plans to drive financial performance and direction of the group
- Drive process streamlining and improvement initiatives across all business functions
- Develop and strengthen relationships with potential and existing strategic business partners and stakeholders
- Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or Business from an established institution and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualified
- At least 10 years of relevant working experience and 5 years in similar capacity, including in a listed company
- Must have relevant corporate finance working experience and expertise
- Prior experience in IPO listing is a plus
- Well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from accounting to broad investment operations
- In-depth knowledge of corporate financial laws and risk management practices
- Proven leadership and business management experience
- Strong business acumen, communication skills, forward-looking and successful team management track record
- Ability to engage with people from all organisational levels and cultures
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills
- Positive mindset and strong analytical skills
