Regional Head

The Job:

- Responsible for all aspects of finance and accounting operations to achieve company targets
- To ensure accuracy and validity of data for forecasting, planning, and reporting of financial details for the stakeholders as per agreed timelines
- Perform risk assessment and provide short
- and long-term mitigation plans for the legal entity
- Creating, implementing, and updating local financial policies and processes as per country & Government norms
- To provide guidance and monitor the implementation of SOPs, Company Policies and Company Regulations with relevant department heads and align to the group policy, code of conduct, and the local law
- Ensure practice and implementation of robust internal controls in various processes and lead the internal audit process
- Provide a well-informed and independent opinion on financial matters of the company. Ability to put company interest as a top priority
- To build a good relationship and liaise with Management consultants, Tax consultants, financial consultants, banks, auditors, insurance, financial institutions and able to implement the results for the in favor of the company’s interest.
- Conduct tax planning and ensure compliance to direct taxes, indirect taxes, tax payments, withholding taxes, assessments, appeals, etc., according to local tax regulations.
- Validate and verify tax submissions within timelines as well as compliance with local regulations (GAAP/ IFRS)
- Managing cash flows, working capital, credit management, term loans, Forex matters and AR/AP
- Validate and verify the customers in term of TOP, Credit Limit, payment capability, bank guarantee, other collaterals to ensure risk mitigation.
- Have knowledge on hedging, forex transactions, importation/exportation customs and duty
- Support the finance function in the region and act as a bridge between HQ and the regions
- Set KPIs, assess and provide guidance to team members for achieving team and organizational goals
- Set training for the teams, especially on financial and taxation updates
- To ensure a clean audit report
- To supervise, validate and advise on the marketing programs which have big impact on the company’s ROI and future benefits for the region
- To be partner for HRD in validating and monitoring employees benefits and compensation framework
- To support sales team with proper and accurate business review and analysis
- To supervise, monitor and validate the procurement, logistics and supply chain functions
- To Support and help implement new business plans as well as evaluate feasibility of new projects
- To evaluate and provide feedback to encourage growth and improvement with all team members.
- To supervise supply chain function in conjunction with local teams in order to control the level of necessity stocks, the efficiency of various logistics costs

The Person:

- Management degree (or equivalent) with Finance specialization or dual equivalent specialization
- Experience in lubricants/ allied industry is a must.
- In-depth knowledge of the lubricants market will be beneficial
- Must have experience in customer relationship development and overall Finance practices
- Able to demonstrate an overall understanding of the contract negotiation process (i.e., how negotiations are set up, who participates, what issues are discussed); knows a variety of effective negotiation techniques
- Capability to translate customer requirements into business opportunities
