- 1.0 OVERVIEW

The position of Gaming QA Lead is a key one at TransPerfect Translations. Gaming QA Leads will provide client support on challenging test problems in a dynamic and exciting environment. They will be testing the next big hit game from small independent development teams all the way to AAA game titles from industry heavyweights. Gaming QA Leads will own large feature areas and deliver high quality and timely testing to help make our clients’ games great. They have a passion for excellence, are experienced game testers, and want to help make better games.
- 2.0 DESCRIPTION
- Write, execute test plans and test cases.
- Deliver other required documentation, as necessary.
- Own product areas
- Use test tools, automation and/or write status reports
- Analyze test results and adjust test cases accordingly
- Find and report bugs including crash dumps, call stacks, and video capture
- Collaborate with partner teams in testing the product utilizing black box, grey box, and/or white box testing techniques
- Effectively communicate and report feature quality and state
- Proactively look for gaps in test coverage
- Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor.
- 3.0 REQUIRED SKILLS
- Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills in English
- The ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines

- 4.0 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, or direct relevant experience
- 3+ years of game testing experience
- 5.0 DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Native-level proficiency in a non-English language, such as, but not limited to, Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese or Japanese or Korean or Thai or Indonesian or Vietnamese
- Experience with Security testing/ fuzzing tools
- Experience with Performance/Stress testing tools and methodologies
- Experience with Accessibility testing
- Experience with Certification Testing and/or Lot Checks
- Experience with testing tools like fiddler, netmon, etc.
- Experience with bug tracking systems like ADO, JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
- Experience shipping 3 or more games
