**Position Summary**

You will be responsible in overseeing the IT Finance management, supporting the Group CIO and Director in the overall management of NHG IT spends. Your duties include reporting and tracking of the actual, projected, and budgeted IT spending of National Healthcare Group. You will be the IT Finance Business Partner for the assigned institutions, acting as the point of contact for all IT Finance management and operations support. You will need to ensure the smooth operations of the IT Finance Operations, adhering to finance governance, regulatory compliance and ensuring accuracy and completeness of IT Financial records for audits and management reporting. The role will also require providing financial support to national IT strategic projects/initiatives and Cluster level Strategic projects assigned.

**Role and Responsibilities**

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
a. Support HOD in financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling.

b. Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making and drive operational improvements.

c. Prepare accurate and comprehensive financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
a. Develop annual budgets in collaboration with portfolio directors, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

b. Conduct regular forecasting exercises to assess financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend appropriate actions.

c. Monitor budget adherence, analyze variances, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize financial outcomes.

3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
a. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor portfolio performance, operational efficiency, and financial health.

b. Track and report on financial and operational performance against targets, highlighting areas of concern and opportunities for improvement.

c. Provide regular and ad hoc financial analysis and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration:
a. Collaborate with various teams to gather relevant data, understand business drivers, and align financial plans.

b. Support portfolio directors in evaluation of business cases for new initiatives.

5. Champion process simplification and automation:
a. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation to streamline financial operations.

b. Implement best practices in financial management to achieve operational excellence.

6. Business Finance Operation:
a. Provide end-to-end support on Purchase Requests (PR), billing and invoice queries from institutions, vendors and IT staff including raising / tracking PRs and approvals in system.

b. Performs daily Account Payable function to ensure all transactions are maintained in an effective, up-to-date and accurate manner.

c. Responsible for intercompany billing, reconciling, and agreeing balances within the Group and its related companies for Month-end and Year-end closing.

d. Support Finance and Materials Management departments on related queries and other reporting requirements.

e. Support month end activities - review all information for and periodic IT spending reports. Monitor IT portfolios and reports its performance periodically.

f. Process invoice for payment by furnishing tracking summary (source of budget, past utilisation, total billed to date, budget balance) and necessary supporting documents (PO, approval paper, project charter, TPK computation) for validation of each invoice.

**Requirements / Qualifications**

1. Holds a degree in Accountancy or equivalent with at least 10 years of working experience.

2. Is highly self-motivated to learn and contribute.

3. Possesses a sense of inquisitiveness on work matters.

4. Able to work with details and is meticulous.

5. Has a keen knowledge of IT financing and project costing.

6. Is organized and a good team player.

7. Has good interpersonal and communicator skill, including ability to write fluently.

8. Strong proficiency in MS Office - Word, Powerpoint and Excel, especially with formulas like pivot tables, vlookup, dropdown list, sumif formulas, etc.

9. Hands-on experience with SAP and Service Now system will be an advantage.

10. Working experience in finance and operational analytics. Comfortable in handling large data sets.

11. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

12. Possess leadership skills and review the work performed by executives/assistant manager and provide guidance
