For this we use ING’s innovation methodology, PACE, which builds on Lean Startup, Design Thinking, and Agile.

The PACE coaching team is focused on guiding innovation initiatives through the PACE methodology by coaching them, facilitating workshops, acting as a sparring partner or offering operational support where needed. The role is based in Singapore, but as ING Labs coaches, we support teams based in different parts of the world.

**Your role**

As a PACE Coach in ING Labs, you work directly with the innovation initiatives, guide them and connect them with the Labs ecosystem and the broader ING organization to bring new products and services to the market. Your goal is to support the teams in their development journey, to make progress through validated learnings.

Your responsibilities:

- Create high performing teams for innovation initiatives and let them work as effectively as possible according to the PACE methodology
- Guide the teams in embedding a structured way of working, facilitate ceremonies, workshops and team discussions
- Work closely with a service designer to find the best tools and techniques in customer research and experimentation to produce good quality, validated learnings
- Guide the teams through the Innovation Fund stage gates, supporting them in creating a clear story and ensuring deliverables are met
- Together with the Lab lead, select the best possible people to staff the initiatives and together make the initiative a success or a fast learning
- Support the venture teams in engaging with internal and external stakeholders
- Actively support teams by helping them work through roadblocks and challenges
- Contribute to the constant development of our tools and way of working, to deliver better support to initiative teams

You love to coach people and empower them to use all their strengths. You are passionate about creating high performing teams that do great things. You can navigate a large corporate organisation to support teams so their efforts can be enhanced by everything ING can add. You are comfortable in defining the stakeholder landscape and can engage with various stakeholder groups.

You continuously keep learning and motivate others to do the same, by challenging them to sharpen themselves and to become the best they can be. You are comfortable to speak and present to large groups and you feel at home in a fast-paced environment where you continuously learn.

- You have proven coaching skills
- You have an entrepreneurial background or product management experience
- You have excellent motivating and networking skills including high cultural sensitivity and love to work in a highly diverse environment
- You are equipped with a good understanding of innovation practices (ideally familiar with PACE or similar methodologies based on lean start-up, design thinking, and Agile)
- You can demonstrate exposure to project management
- You are a critical thinker and can create structure quickly
- You are a team player with strong collaboration skills
- You have business proficiency or fluency in English
- At a minimum, we would like you to have 6 years of business experience
- To be considered as a senior pace coach, you have a minimum of 10 years of business experience, with at least five years of a proven track record of coaching startups/ventures
