Blacksmith KYC - an ING WB COO venture - is hiring a Risk & Legal Officer.

**Risk & Legal Officer responsibilities**

You will manage both risk & legal affairs, including KYC of new clients, ensure all operations and processes are aligned with ING Risk Management policies, ensuring 3rd party tooling is aligned with ING Procurement and Risk policies. You will support the core team of the venture by identifying, documenting and responding to the different risks of the initiative such as delivery, IT, operational, financial and contractual risks.
- You will lead risk assessments and security scans
- You will participate in the sales funnel to define the risk-related requirements of the purchasing party and respond to these in a professional way
- You will follow up on the contracting with Legal departments, the initiative partners and customers, to make sure contracts are delivered on time and signed correctly
- You are responsible for Internal ING Service Level Management, making sure all intragroup agreements are aligned with ING’s Intragroup agreement standard, and formal communications with stakeholders take place

You are an excellent communicator who builds relationships, is curious and loves to learn. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and see change as an adventure, and you have a no-nonsense / let’s get this done attitude.

- You can communicate clearly and concisely and can create easy to read risk reports
- You pay attention to detail and you are a well-organised person who can manage risk assessment in a project-like manner
- You maintain a high level of initiative and you are a creative thinker. Ideas are great, but execution is king.
- You are an independent, proactive and strong team player. You seek guidance when needed, are open to feedback and you challenge your colleagues.
- You embrace change. You are resilient and able to fail, learn and bounce back.

Specific experience asked:

- You have experience in managing risk, creating risk logs and risk responses
- You have experience in B2B sales or purchasing processes like RFI, RFQ and RFP
- 5+ years’ experience and a bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Excellent command of English and preferably additional languages
