DESIGNATION : Programme Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, organise and lead activities, either one-to-one or on a group basis.
- Develop, coordinate and conduct programmes to suit residents’ holistic needs.
- Review programmes to ensure relevance and effectiveness in meeting needs of all residents.
- Guide Resident Care Partners (RCP) and volunteers in executing activity programmes.
- Establish collaboration and liaise with external stakeholders such as corporate /institutional and grassroot organisations in the development of activity programmes
- Procure consumables and supplies as required with proper monitoring of budget allocated.
- Ensure proper recording of daily activities.
- Assume any other additional responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Passion and desire to work with senior
- Self-motivated team player who enjoys working with different profiles of seniors
- Able to plan, develop and implement programmes to meet the needs of seniors
- Able to engage, befriend and motivate seniors through facilitation of activities or programmes
- Able to perform administrative tasks and possess basic Microsoft Office literacy.
- Able to prepare and conduct care programmes for seniors; e.g daily news chats/cookingtherapy/art & craft/singing sessions/dancing, reminiscence therapy; etc.
- Advance/Higher/Certificate in Community & Social Service (Senior Care Services) and good “O”level (minimum 3 credits)
- Competency in eldercare service with at least 2 years working experience in an eldercareinstitution.
- Ability to understand and speak English, Mandarin and local dialects will be an advantageous
