The Institutional Statistics Unit (ISU) at Nanyang Technological University provides the university's institutional data and statistics such as facts & figures and official student statistics to the various internal agencies like offices, colleges, schools and external agencies such as Ministries and Statutory Boards.

The role plans and executes the operations in ISU to produce timely, reliable and accurate institutional data and statistics on benchmarking and analytical reports for the university planning and decision making.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, collect and collate numerous data streams from various external and internal sources such as ranking agencies and citation databases, analyse the data trends and produce timely analytical reports for management.
- Assist in the administration of university-level surveys and ad-hoc surveys including those from external sources, collation and statistical analysis of survey data.
- Publish website contents such as statistics and ensure that the information is accurate and timely.
- Assist in the administration of the office and IT security as well as supervision of junior staff.
- Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree preferably in a relevant discipline such as business, data science/analytics, economics, psychology, social sciences, engineering, computer science, mathematics, operational research and statistics.
- At least 3 years of working experience on data analytics and statistics.
- Proficient in using data analysis tools like advanced Microsoft Excel, SPSS and visualization dashboard e.g. Qlik Sense.
- Proficient in editing website.
- Excellent in analytical writing using statistics.
- Planning and organizing.
- Analytical skills.
- Communication skills.
- Team player
