**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct research on developing novel statistical methods for analysis of complex survival data arising from a variety of applied fields
- Perform numerical studies including simulations and real data analysis independently
- Draft research papers for publication
- Assist in supervision of final year projects for undergraduate students

**Job Requirements**
- PhD in Statistics or closely related fields with
- Strong knowledge of various methods for survival data and longitudinal data analyses. Expertise in semiparametric modeling/inference and quantile regression would be considered a plus.
- Strong programming skills in R (or Matlab)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong initiatives
- Publication record in the relevant areas
