**The Company**
Our client is an established financial institution with presence globally. They have consistently recorded a strong financial performance and are well-positioned to achieve their growth plans for the APAC region. This opportunity is for an experienced compliance specialist/Big 4 Auditor to join their existing team in Singapore.
**The Role**
- This role requires an individual self-starter contributor, a strong ability to develop and strengthen relevant compliance frameworks, tools and techniques to promote a good functioning culture of compliance within the organisation.
- Identify and facilitate compliance with all applicable local and international laws and regulations, particularly the Securities & Futures Act. This includes compliance risk assessment, compliance training, compliance reviews (incorporating staff dealing controls) and self-assessments.
- Participate in constructive and effective relationships with regulators.
- Provide compliance advice to business and support units in the organisation for complex initiatives with significant regulatory implications.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Accounting or Finance-related discipline with at least 3 years’ experience in financial regulatory work. External Auditor, Assurance specialist are encourage to apply. Professional compliance qualifications are a plus.
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
- Good analytical and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to prioritise, work calmly under pressure to meet tight timescales
