Job Description:
**As Sales Engineer, you are responsible for**:

- Building and maintaining an international network of (potential) clients that generate leads that are commercially interesting.
- Developing the most promising leads into sales projects, helping the client to identify their needs and to translate these needs into a concept, together with your internal sales colleagues of the tender & concepts department.
- Creating and releasing commercial quotations for your sales projects in cooperation with all relevant departments
- The design and implementation of key account plans
- Designing and implementing actions to achieve maximum results from marketing activities such as trade fairs and events.
- Facilitating and cooperating with all stakeholders within the sales process
- The newly hired will work directly under the Commercial Director of APAC, an opportunity to assist him with the projects.

You are:

- Independent and Business savvy
- Technically oriented with a keen interest in mechanical engineering
- Culturally sensitive to various Asian (and Western) cultures
- Modest, very good socially in building relations, yet audacious

You have:

- A relevant bachelors' degree, preferably technical; (Mechanical Engineering Degree)
- Proven experience in technical (consultative) sales preferably (minimum of 3 years in the technical / commercial / offshore or maritime industries
- The ability to work independently, adapt quickly to new requirements and know how to prioritize.
- The ambition to grow within our organization, and take on more responsibility as you go.
- No problem with travelling.
- No problem working in the **West**
