As our **E-commerce Performance Merchandiser**, you’ll take ownership of how Ask & Embla products are presented, discovered, and converted across our online store. You’ll be responsible for planning and executing merchandising strategies, optimizing the user journey, and driving conversion with a direct impact on category-level revenue and performance.This is a cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of product, merchandising, UX, marketing, and growth — perfect for someone who thrives on both data and aesthetic detail.

**What You'll Do**:
Site Merchandising
- Plan, organize, and optimize product displays across the homepage, collection pages, navigation, and site search.
- Ensure accurate and conversion-optimized product data (titles, tags, filters, descriptions, imagery).
- Use data to improve collection structure, product sequencing, and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Partner with marketing and inventory teams to ensure onsite experience aligns with campaigns, launches, and stock levels.
- Regularly audit the site to identify and implement improvements to product discoverability and presentation.

Category Performance
- Own KPIs for product category performance including revenue, conversion rate, average order value (AOV), and sell-through.
- Analyze category trends, traffic behavior, and performance data to surface insights and drive growth.
- Monitor and respond to underperforming or fast-selling SKUs with proactive merchandising actions.
- Collaborate with growth and retention teams to align category push strategies across channels.

Conversion Optimization
- Optimize the end-to-end user journey across homepage, collection, product detail, cart, and checkout pages to reduce friction and improve flow.
- Identify pain points and drop-off areas using tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, and session recordings to inform continuous improvements.
- Execute A/B and multivariate testing focused on increasing add-to-cart rates, checkout progression, and overall conversion.
- Enhance mobile and desktop experiences with a customer-first lens, ensuring seamless navigation, clarity of information, and persuasive merchandising elements.
- Execute A/B tests and data-backed optimizations to improve product and category performance.
- Partner with design and dev teams to improve PDPs, collection pages, cart flow, and mobile experience.
- Analyze and report on test results and performance impact, translating insights into ongoing improvements.

**Who You Are**:

- 3-5 years of experience in eCommerce merchandising, site optimization, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify (or a similar CMS), Google Analytics, and optimization tools like Hotjar, VWO, or Convert.
- Strong analytical skills - comfortable working with data to make decisions and spot opportunities.
- Detail-oriented with a great sense for UX and customer flow.
- A good eye for product presentation and commercial instinct for what drives sales.
- A self-starter, comfortable owning projects end-to-end and collaborating cross-functionally.
- Experience in fashion, jewelry, or lifestyle DTC brands is a bonus.
