Singapore Sports Hub is seeking an exceptional talent for the role of Social Media Manager to drive our social media strategy with the aim of boosting our brand visibility, growing our online community and driving the customer engagement.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Director, this role will lead the social team and work with the appointed social media agency to oversee Singapore Sports Hub’s interactions with the public by implementing social media content strategies, analysing growth and engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions and planning social campaigns to build our community online.
**Roles and Responsibilities**:

Lead the social team and appointed agency in the following:_**
- Create, develop and implement engaging social media strategies
- Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels using the appointed scheduling tool
- Create engaging multimedia content (and/or outsource this effectively) across multiple platforms
- Develop and manage competitions and social campaigns
- Form relationships with key influencers
- Monitor, track, analyse and report on performance using appointed platforms
- Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity
- Analyse competitor activity
- Recommend improvements to increase performance
- Set targets to increase followers growth and increase customer engagement
- Manage a budget for social media activities
- Educate other team members on the use of social media and promote its use within Singapore Sports Hub (in-house roles)
- Manage community management with appointed CRM platform

Marketing Promotions and Content Creation_**
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of creative, marketing, and communications members within the marketing department in campaign brainstorming and ideation
- Work with the cross-functional team to plan, organise and execute the social media strategy for the quarterly and ad-hoc campaigns within budgets, ensuring cross-media efficiency and close tracking of results with actionable recommendations
- Work with the cross-functional team to drive and create social content and assets for marketing campaigns and promotions
- Lead the social team in managing paid social channel executions and marketing support for marketing campaigns and promotions
**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Impressive track record as a social media marketing strategist with a background in both agency and corporate setting is highly desirable
- Strong hands-on experience with social media marketing strategies and tools with at least 5 years of experience managing social media strategies and campaigns
- Solid knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics and Facebook Insights as well as hands-on experience with tracking tools and setting up measuring strategies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a natural tendency to lead both people and projects, taking a logical data-driven approach to problem-solving
- Attentive to details on what customers are asking and be able to manage stress in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management skills
- At least 3 years experience managing a team
**Preferred Qualifications**:

- University degree in Marketing, Advertising, IT, Business or relevant field
- Prior experience in the venues and events industry is an advantage
**Other**:

- Possesses a passion for sports or an active lifestyle
- Working hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Evening and Weekend hours will be required at various times
