Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for eye health products to achieve revenue targets and market penetration.
- Lead and inspire a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support and motivation to drive exceptional performance.
- Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders, eye care professionals, optometrists, ophthalmologists, and distributors.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales efforts with product launches, promotional activities, and educational initiatives.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Provide regular sales performance reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and events to showcase our eye health products and network with potential customers and partners.
- Work closely with the customer support team to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Stay abreast of advancements in eye health technologies, treatments, and research, integrating relevant knowledge into sales strategies.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in the eye health industry are a plus.
- Proven track record of at least 5-7 years in sales and business development within the eye health industry, with a successful history of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate sales teams effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of the eye health industry, including eye care products, treatments and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with eye care professionals and key stakeholders.
- Familiarity with eye health regulations, certifications and quality control processes.
- Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic industry.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools to manage leads, opportunities and customer data.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients, attend conferences and support the sales team.
