**Job Title: Ship Repair Manager**

**Job Summary**:As a Ship Repair Manager, you will oversee all aspects of ship repair projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion while maintaining the highest quality standards. You will manage a team of professionals, coordinate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Project Management**:Lead and oversee ship repair projects from inception to completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- **Team Leadership**:Manage a team of ship repair technicians, engineers, and support staff, providing guidance, motivation, and support to ensure project objectives are met.
- **Client Relations**:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, providing updates on project progress, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- **Supplier and Contractor Coordination**:Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to procure materials, equipment, and services required for ship repair projects, negotiating contracts and ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- **Quality Assurance**:Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure all ship repair work meets industry standards and client requirements.
- **Safety Compliance**:Enforce safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment for all personnel involved in ship repair projects, conducting regular safety inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
- **Cost Management**:Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities to optimize project profitability.
- **Technical Expertise**:Utilize your knowledge of ship repair techniques, materials, and equipment to troubleshoot technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and financial records, and communicate project status to stakeholders as required.
- **Continuous Improvement**:Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity in ship repair operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in ship repair management, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of ship repair processes, techniques, and regulations.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools for project management and documentation.
- Strong leadership qualities, including problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards, with a focus on continuous improvement.
