The Senior Engineer, Ship Repair role is a dynamic opportunity to lead and manage a team of technicians, engineers, and contractors in upholding ship operational readiness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and monitor all maintenance works to ensure timely completion and uphold ship operational readiness.
  • Manage direct customers and be the main point of contact for ship, SREC, and SSEC.
  • Lead and manage a team of technicians, engineers, and contractors to ensure quality work is done safely and completed on time.
  • Coordinate with yards from time to time on lapping scope of work.
  • Conduct Vessel Safety Committee Coordination when ships are on program.
  • Prepare and timely submission of monthly reports to management.
  • Perform Service Acceptance for jobs completed by Production Department.
  • Check and Approve Works Orders raised by Commercial Department.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Marine/Mechanical/Naval Architecture/Electrical.
  • Preferably 3 years of experience in newbuild or ship repair related projects.
  • Completed Ship Repair Manager Course.
  • Project Management Skills in planning, scheduling, and costing, risk management, manpower management, customer relationship management.
  • Able to deal and communicate effectively at all levels, identify and manage issues, cost consciousness, and urgency.
  • Familiarity with SAP software advantageous.
  • Able to go onboard vessels.
  • Ability to work on weekends based on project needs.

This is a mid-senior level full-time position within the Engineering and Information Technology department. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:45 am to 5 pm.
