Job Description

The APAC Transformation Office drives and executes the overall strategic transformation agenda with the ambition to facilitate and deliver business growth. The Transformation Office is part of the CEO’s office and comprises of practices like Strategy, Transformation Management, Operational Excellence, Enterprise Agility, Metrics and Measures and Transformation Capabilities.

JOB DUTIES:

- Responsible for developing and maintaining the integrated project plan, resource plan, contingency plan, and related project management artifacts and tollgates
- Drive the development of business requirements to satisfy business case objectives, customer and employee impact assessments, and communications
- Provide timely and accurate reporting to all stakeholders; hold regular cross organizational management briefings.
- To manage strategic initiatives including mergers and acquisitions.
- To facilitate various work streams and coordinate with Asia stakeholders owners and participants in delivering targeted outcome within agreed timeframe.
- To balance needs and wants and ensuring requests are aligned with project vision and objective.
- Lead boldly and utilize hard and soft skills to influence participants of all levels towards the common goal.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues.
- Identify and manage dependencies and impacts
- Maintain meticulous records of projects and programs financials, issues, risks, decisions, schedules.
- Provide business management support to the Transformation and Corporate Office

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

- Degree holder, with 4-6 years of relevant experience in the following areas:

- Management consulting or project management experience in a leading Management Consulting firm or Bank/Asset Management Firm
- Driving and implementing large transformation and strategic initiatives within the Asset Management or Wealth Management industry
- Experience working on Merger and acquisition deals ideal
- Strong working knowledge of the asset management/wealth management industry
- Strong independent leadership skills with the ability to lead a large team with mínimal oversight, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and communications skills. Provide clear, concise direction to the broader team while delivering comprehensive status to senior executives, project champions and Delivery Leads

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

- Individual with initiative and ability to work independently and under tight schedules to achieve project milestones
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must communicate with clarity, impact, purpose and authority with partners, peers, management and the business
- Experience of managing multiple stakeholders with strong collaboration skills engendering positive relationships and trust; flexibility and comfort with ambiguity are essential.
- Good understanding of what it means to work in an agile environment is required.
- Prince 2, Six Sigma or equivalent is an advantage.
