The JP Customer Growth and Engagement team works to help customers discover the best of Amazon Prime using data and insights to invent, test, and scale programs that drive Prime growth and member engagement. We also invent on behalf of the customers to remove user experience frictions and create the best, most frictionless online shopping destination for JP customers on.co.jp. /shopping app.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our User Experience team and create the most customer-centric, Best-in-Japan product discovery and purchase journeys on Amazon, starting with GW as one of the top entry points of new and existing Amazon customers.

1. Partner with our research/insights team to identify JP customer needs and UX pain points starting from GW (gateway) page on browser and mobile app.
2. Work backwards from customer needs to strategize and prioritize experimentation and product roadmap to remove friction and create seamless product discovery and purchase journeys starting from GW (gateway) page on browser and mobile app.
3. Partner with JP and WW tech teams to launch such products and own driving product strategy and requirements starting from GW (gateway) page on browser and mobile app.
4. Share insights and learnings from test/product launches and use such learnings in a continuous PDCA cycle of product improvements starting from GW (gateway) page on browser and mobile app.
5. Share UX product insights with WW UX teams and create a global community of bar-raising user experience products/programs starting from GW (gateway) page on browser and mobile app.
6. Drive senior leadership awareness of progress and priority of user experience products, and align leaders across orgs to continue focus on and drive UX improvements starting from GW (gateway) page on browser and mobile app.

Key job responsibilities
To make an impact as a Senior Product Manager in charge of creating the most seamless, user-friendly product discovery and shopping experiences on.co.jp and shopping app, you will prioritize and drive efforts to better understand customer needs, form hypothesis and make judgment calls on two-way door experiments to validate hypothesis, level up learnings and insights into product proposal at the senior leadership level and rally support from a diverse group of stakeholder and partner teams to create something that is pushing the frontier of shopping experience in Japan. You will also work closely with tech teams on product requirements and launching products, grounding your vision and strategy in actual product launches that tangibly improve customer experience on.co.jp/shopping app, starting with the GW page.

**Specifically, key responsibilities include**:

- Prioritize and drive customer and competitor studies to form hypothesis of customer UX pain points and needs on.co.jp/shopping app starting from the GW page
- Create experimentation roadmap to validate above hypothesis and build data/insights for product roadmaps at scale starting from the GW page
- Create and drive product roadmaps to invest JP UX tech resources on the highest priority/impact UX products starting from the GW page
- Level up above roadmaps into strategic vision documents that rally support at senior leadership level starting from the GW page
- Partner with tech and ML/BI teams on launching products and share learnings that can be used to keep raising the bar of JP UX onsite starting from the GW page
- Be an advocate for user experience at global forums and share learnings with WW marketplaces to create synergy between visions
