Job Responsibilities:
- Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, conference calls, and presentations involving Japanese and non-Japanese-speaking participants.
- Assist in composing and revising reports and presentations in both Japanese and English.
- Facilitate communication between Japanese and non-Japanese speaking clients.
- Act as a bridge between Japanese and English-speaking (vice versa) personnels, helping to foster a multicultural and inclusive work environment. Provides guidance on cultural differences and etiquette.
- Support and facilitate the completion of monthly report to Japan.
- Provide general administrative support, including but not limited to travel arrangements.
Job Requirements:
- Min Diploma / Degree
- At least 5 years of working experience in any field
- High level of proficiency in Japanese, written and spoken, to translate and interpret from English to Japanese and vice versa for documents and meetings pertaining to Japan HQ (JLPT N1 / N2 preferred)
- Experience working in a Japanese Company or studied in Japan will be of an added advantage.
- Proficiency in both Japanese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to provide swift and accurate translation and/or interpretation service in office environment and/or out-field
- Multi-tasking and time management capability
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks
