JR26464 Principal Engineer Supplier Programs

**Responsibilities and Tasks**
- Main set of tasks revolve around 5 broad areas
Common platform enablement

Supplier engagement and selection of relevant materials

Data content management for Micron and Supplier

Analysis, Correlations and Causation

Bringing the value home for Micron

Common platform enablement (Work with IT, IP, Legal on Micron as well as supplier side)
- Work with internal IT to ensure that we are working on key bottlenecks that help enable data sharing securely and anonymously in a normalized format
- Setting up checks and balance on data integrity

Supplier engagement and selection of relevant materials (work with Micron Procurement, GQ, MTE along with Supplier experts)
- Find value and/or pain points for Micron to establish criteria for material/spare selection
- Ensure that all types of materials are covered across front and backend

Data content management for Micron and Supplier (work with Micron and supplier’s technical experts on Quality, Materials, Manufacturing and Yield)
- Work with supplier to decide type of data that needs to be shared (C of A, Process and manufacturing parameters, supplier’s supplier data for the same where relevant)
- Cleanse the data, normalize and anonymize it
- Work with corresponding Micron Fab/Eng users based on supplier’s point of use for the material or spare to decide type of data that needs to be shared (unpatterned and patterned wafer data of the relevant process, relevant tool data, parametric and probe data that represents repair as well as yield)
- Connect and match the supplier and Micron data by time, by batch, by pieces etc

Analysis, Correlations and Causation (work with SMAI, MTE and Supplier’s technical experts)
- Perform with the team’s help correlations and analysis using algorithms and techniques for multivariate assessments between Micron and the supplier data
- Work with technical experts on both sides to assess findings and get to causation
- Get further proof points through golden batches / golden pieces

Bringing the value home for Micron (work with GQ and Procurement)
- Use learnings to change spec or material composition and or usage
- Ensure that all changes are documented and tracked
- Make the changes and ongoing work part of supplier rating and ranking

Ensure a Safe, Compliant, and Ethical Work Environment
- Communicate requirements and expectations to leaders and external stakeholders
- Ensure execution of mandatory training for organization
- Identify and resolve and / or report potential safety, security, and labor issues
