**What you will do**

Reporting to Value & Access Director, the Value and Access Senior manager for JAPAC region will be an important member of Global Operational Pricing (GOP) team within Global Value and Access (GV&A) organization reporting to JAPAC Regional Value and Access Lead (RVAL).

Major roles for this position will be a strategic value and access (V&A) partner for JAPAC affiliates, V&A functional supporter for JAPAC region and contributor for global initiatives in GOP. With these 3 dimensions of role and responsibilities, this individual needs to create and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with key partners including VA&P colleagues in JAPAC affiliates, regional finance lead and GM in JAPAC region, GCELs and GPMDs supporting JAPAC region, ASLs and VASMs in IAS team and members in global operational pricing team.

Main Responsibilities:

- Support affiliates to build solid access and pricing strategy for in-line and launch brands by having strategic discussion, providing information or data needed to develop the valid strategy.
- Advise affiliates to incorporate access need into plan and execution for evidence generation and access environment shaping.
- Lead dossier governance process reviewing access strategy, data to be submitted and executive summary checking the alignment with global strategy and managing deviation when needed.
- Help affiliates for RTQ management in collaboration with ASLs/VASMs and GHEOR team and provide the continuous support when further information needed along the payer engagement/negotiation process.
- Review pricing proposal and support affiliate to develop solid business case and manage pricing governance in both offline and LINK system.
- Provide the strategic input during major forecasting exercise (LRS and budget) in access and pricing perspective and take the responsibility of consolidation and GV&A inputs for responsible markets and brands.
- Closely monitor access status of Amgen brands and major competitors in JAPAC affiliates and make sure to have up to date access information for responsible brands in ACT and JAPAC V&A dashboard.
- Lead achievement sharing for motivation and encouragement of success and postmortem analysis for learning from success and failure.
- Contribute on regional initiatives from V&A side to realize the ambition for JAPAC growth and patient access especially for major growth driver brands.
- Contribute on global initiatives as a member of GOP such as TAAM management including IMPS and several GOP taskforces in CoE (pricing governance, financial process, access excellence, reporting excellence, knowledge management) and TFT (ACT, BET, CRB management).

**Qualifications**:

- **Doctorate degree and 4 years of Market access and/or HEOR and/or Marketing experience OR**:

- **Master’s degree and 6 years of Market access and/or HEOR and/or Marketing experience OR**:

- **Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of Market access and/or HEOR and/or Marketing experience**

**Additional Qualifications**
- In-depth knowledge and experiences around healthcare environment and market access/pricing mechanism across countries.
- Scientific background to have a good understanding on the disease, product, and technical knowledge around HTA assessment.
- Clear understanding of how to best put patients’ needs while also achieving commercial and business objectives with commercial sense.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment with high emotional intelligence and resilience coping with pressures and demands that can be arisen from time-sensitive tasks.
- Attitude to embrace complexed situation and passion to improve continuously.
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills with a clear articulation on the situation and solution with logical thinking.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders.
