**About the job**:
**Responsibilities**
- Design and develop CL/RPG programs with DB2 in AS400, document the development process and its related phases including the conducting of user acceptance tests and the training of users
- Responsible for AS400 system environment setup and development of job schedules that integrate upstream and downstream systems
- Demonstrate solutions by creating documentation, user guides and process flowcharts, ensuring compatibility with existing solutions and infrastructure setup
- Assist in post-implementation and continuous improvement efforts to enhance performance and provide increased functionality
- Monitor existing systems in place and recommend improvements in processes and support strategies to meet evolving business needs
- Engage with internal stakeholders to identify routine and near-term needs and priorities
- Provide technical support to end users on software adopted by the Group
- Undertake and oversee backup and recovery procedures
- Prepare reports required by the Group
- Support audit queries and comply with security and control policies in place
- Optimize the use of available IT resources

**Requirement**
- At least 2-3 years of experience in AS400 CL and RPG programming with AS400/DB2
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant computer science field or discipline
- Understanding in software development concepts and adapt to existing coding languages/databases used by the Group (RPGLE, Java, Javascript, PHP, HTML, C, SQL)
- Knowledge in business processes and controls in manufacturing, supply-chain and/or service industries
- Experience in internal stakeholder engagement, including conducting user interviews and requirements gathering
- Work well in an agile project team and in an iterative approach, driven by stakeholder feedback and data insights
- Strong communication, organizational and documentation skills
- Willing to travel to various entities at different locations within the Group of Companies if required
