
Assistant Human Resources Manager

**Job Description**:
Responsible for the full spectrum of human capital and development function of the hotel.
**Responsibilities**:
- To prepare the hotel’s annual manpower budget in consultation with head of department and submit it to management for approval. In preparing the manpower budget, the incumbent works closely with the department managers in arriving at the appropriate manpower strength for each department paying attention to issues like manpower cost, productivity, etc.
- To prepare monthly HR and Manpower Report for the Hotel.
- To be responsible for the recruitment program, which will include activities such as advertising, screening, interviewing, reference checking, and employment offers.
- Prepares feedback to the Director of Human Capital & Development on continuous workplace improvements to enhance a better and cordial working environment
- Assists in the organization of internal & corporate events such as Annual Dinner & Dance, Birthday celebration and Townhall, etc.
- To monitor, in conjunction with Learning & Development personnel, associate training and ensure that associate attend mandatory training programs (such as orientation program) and department SOP training is carried out including any other ad-hoc training programs.
- To co-ordinate performance management activities and provide feedback to management with regard to high potential talent, common training needs, promotion prospects, etc.
- To supervise cafeteria and Associate Facilities, ensures that associate welfare and interests are addressed.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resource Management, preferably in the Hotel industry
- Diploma in Human Resource Management or related discipline.
- Good knowledge of the Employment Act
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills with good interpersonal skills
- Meticulous and well-organised
- Maturity to handle confidential information
- Strong team player, whilst still having the ability to work independently
- High level of flexibility and adaptability
