
Business Development Executive

Our Client is a group company of Japanese-listed PR marketing companies.
The role of a Business Development Executive (Japanese speaking) is to be responsible for leading all business development efforts within the organization, including the development and implementation of business development strategies and activities. You will be reporting to Business Development Manager or MD.(depending on the situation)
【 What you will be doing 】
- Acquiring new business, with the support of the extended team, and driving gross profits across our services to achieve new business targets
- Taking full ownership of acquiring new business, with the support of the extended team, and driving gross profits across our services to achieve new business targets
- Identifying business opportunities, particularly in the Singapore market as well as regional opportunities
- Reporting to Japan HQ, this is an independent position but with precise KPIs to be reached.
- Working closely with the Client Services team to grow existing accounts
- Manage marketing material, database, and activities to build our reputation in the industry with the goal of acquiring new business
- Developing strong relationships with new clients, partners; as well as establishing new relationships that drive long-term business opportunity
- ** Requirement**:

- Possess Bachelor Degree/Diploma in any field (in a relevant field such as communications or marketing are preferred)
- Have a wealth of contacts and knowledge of how the advertising industry works and how to secure the best-in-class projects or accounts for social media, content marketing and campaigns
- Marketing/PR Agency experience with a great track record in securing business
- Willing to do hunting sales and possess potential client leads from past/current experience
- Passionate about building strong relationships with clients and partners
- Lateral thinking enthusiast with the ability to solve problems and pivot when required, strong influencing skills and sharp at business negotiations
- Can do attitude and demonstration of determination and resilience to deliver targets and goals
- Fluent in both English and Japanese (JLPT N1) Listening/Writing/Speaking is essential to communicate with Clients and Japan HQ
- Addicted to social media and genuinely excited by digital technologies
- True team player who embraces collaboration
- Well organized and able to handle multiple challenging deadlines.
