Job summary
We are hiring a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager who will work closely with Engineering and other internal teams to drive design improvement programs that continually raise the bar for design and operational standards in our Data Centers, with a particular focus on Colocation sites across APAC regions.

Key job responsibilities
The TIPM will drive the development and adoption of strategies in the region, coordinate with local execution teams, remove obstacles during the implementation and report progress of the project. This individual will drive efficient communications with both internal and external stakeholders and will become a voice of APAC to influence new global initiatives and programs that will inform the next generation of Data Center in our regions. Also will drive improvement in overall project execution by streamlining process and enhance the efficiency.

A day in the life
Drive engineering improvement projects/programs into APAC regions by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Deliver project execution excellence against SLA, measure & analyze the performance, understand challenges throughout the process and drive cycle time improvement.
Update and manage program status into system and maintain up-to-dated information.
Lead stakeholder meeting regular basis to align with partner teams, share the progress and escalate appropriately.
Identify opportunity to invent and simplify process, develop a seamless project execution path and remove any unnecessary or redundant process.
Report the projects/program status regular basis and provide update to leadership team.

About the team
As part of the AWS Infrastructure organization, the Data Center Planning and Delivery (DCPD) team prepares for, plans, and builds the data centers that comprise the AWS cloud. And this team will drive continuous improvement of AWS Data Center to provide more efficient and reliable infrastructure to customers.
- 7+ years of project management experience for complex technology infrastructure projects
- Experience in conducting in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Good written composition and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Cloud computing and the industry and also experience in Colocation Data Center environment
- Project management experience in large scale of Cloud data center
- Well organized and able to work under time/budget pressure
- Experience in Vendor communication and negotiation
