This is a director level role where you will partner with BU, Region and category leaders to formulate the development of business and/or category strategies, including business model innovation. You will develop and facilitate a robust yearly and multi-year business planning process.

How you will contribute

You will:

- Lead the development of long-range strategy and plans for the Business Unit and/ or category. Defines frameworks for evaluating performance. Partners with Finance in leading measurement and tracking of relevant business scorecards.
- Partner BU, Region, Category to formulate and review business strategies. Act as a sounding board to relevant commercial stakeholders and champions the use of strategic tools including scenario planning, portfolio optimization, stress test and the likes
- Provide input in areas of: Analyst Reports, Economic Updates, White Papers, Customer Insights from trend forecasting, business intelligence, competitive benchmarking, industry partnerships
- Act as the BU/ Region/ Category contact for taking strategic guidance from Category or Brand, Region/ BU. Lead relevant Growth Acceleration Team. Work closely with the Marketing & Insights teams, helping them articulate their strategic opportunities, document their strategic plans, leading discussions with Regional leadership to explain the opportunities and gain alignment of specific actions and choices to realize those
- Lead governance of the implementation of key strategic initiatives and projects flowing from the Strategic Plan
- Provide input and independent perspective on all current and prospective opportunities to evaluate options and deliver specific recommendations for action. Core focus on cluster portfolio and participation development (what we do, what’s our offerings etc.)
- Maintain ongoing understanding of emerging market and category trends, competition trends, and emerging macro environment with specific focus on critical “invest” areas and categories

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career with experience and knowledge in:

- Experience in Strategy Roles for large organizations or top tier management consulting
- Relevant work experience as Marketing/Strategy/GM (across Marketing/Finance/Commercial/Strategy as a whole), ideally of a successful similar or larger size company (preferably fast-moving consumer goods). Relevant hands-on experience in consulting and M&A assignments (strategy, structuring, due diligence)
- Deep understanding of relevant Industry, Categories and Key markets
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis and communication skills required. Leadership level experience in deploying strategic methodologies and tools
- Strong collaborator, influencer with structured thinking and proven ability to deliver results

Reporting to the SEA Business Unit President (BUP), the Strategy Director, SEA is based in Singapore and is responsible shaping the 3-year strategy plan, building blocks and roadmap

**Responsibilities**:

- Partner with BUP in shaping the 3-year strategy roadmap : Including building blocks for growth - product, portfolio, pricing, penetration and beyond. Work to bring in outside in perspectives and category and consumer growth drivers as an input, analyzing the macro trends, emerging growth opportunities, organizational capability gaps, and market trends. Provide input and independent perspective on all current and prospective organic and inorganic opportunities to evaluate options and deliver specific recommendations for action. Core focus on cluster portfolio and participation development (what we do, what’s our offerings etc.). Ensure proper BU KPIs, tracking and resource needs identification for high priority initiatives.
- Lead the BU Project Management Office (PMO) supporting BUP, operating as a strategic collaborator with BUP and Country MDs/ Functions.
- Work as an extension of the global and regional strategy team on white space identification in collaboration with global M&A and Ventures team as required on BU specific projects.
- Work closely with the Country MDs, SEA Marketing & Insights teams, as well as Region / Global Strategy team to shape the agenda and plans. Work closely with industry partners and need based with consulting firms for thought leadership and insights.
