Sea Bu Procurement Director

**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**
- This role will be primarily responsible for leading external capability development/solution (both Direct & Indirect) and Sourcing strategy implementation for SEA MU (the biggest and most complex MU in AMEA with significant FG exportation) to enable business growth.
- This role will require both in-depth Procurement functional knowledge as well as strong communication, strong leadership, stakeholder relationship management and people capability development skills in order to deliver the business results.
- This role will act as procurement interface with business stakeholders in SEA. Understand the business needs & challenges, then translate business needs into sourcing solutions, driving both internal and external interventions to enable sourcing strategy implementation to create sustainable competitive advantage for SEA business and beyond.
- He/She will lead the end-to-end sourcing process in SEA and work seamlessly with procurement spend areas, Marketing, R&D, Finance and MSC partners for total value interventions to achieve business deliverables’ commitment.
- He/She needs to create BU programs beyond Global and Regional programs for productivity and innovation to enable BU/MU success.
- He/She will also work closely with procurement spend areas to develop the right sourcing interventions for SEA then to lead the implementation to drive changes including interventions to remove execution barriers. He/She will need to deploy and maintain best in class procurement operation processes and standards/tools, ensure effective execution and governance on procurement E2E process.
- He/She will lead the procurement team based in each SEA countries. He/She needs to manage the complexity we had in SEA, manage a large numbers of priority to deliver business KPI beyond procurement KPI. He/She needs to equip and empower BU procurement team to drive end-to-end value improvement and deliver business goals.

**Requirements**:

- Strong and solid Procurement professional. Proven strategic interventions to create new external capability for business solution and E2E sustainable competitive supply capability.
- Demonstrated biz savvy and strong leadership to connect the dots, steer sourcing strategies, develop right external capabilities and solutions to meet biz needs and enable growth.
- Proven capability to understand business dynamic. Have strong capability to create the positive influence and navigate multi-functional teams to drive business results.
- Be able to bring outside in to win while developing external capabilities to meet business needs and enable innovations.
- Strong leadership to lead and create new BU programs to enable productivity and growth requirement (NPD).
- Proven strong collaboration to partner with business team, MSC muliti-functional and RDQ team to develop external capabilities to meet BU KPI.
- Proven ability to intervene both internal and external to drive E2E value improvement, including but not limited to challenging status quo and working with multifunctional teams to remove barriers.
- Has capability to lead sizable team in multiple countries with strong people development capability.
