**The Role**:
In this high-profile position, you will be principally responsible for driving performance across one of the company's most significant commercial divisions. Reporting directly to the Director of Commercial Operations, you will be a key business partner supporting sales, marketing, and senior management to ensure sound and robust commercial decision-making. You will lead a capable team who partner closely with the business to optimise commercial and financial performance through actionable insights.

CA/CPA qualified, you will be a proven commercial finance leader with extensive experience within a telco or technology environment. You will possess commercial acumen, an attention to detail and ability to manage a team. Robust communication and interpersonal skills will be crucial, as your ability to exert influence across the business will be fundamental to your success. You will be inquisitive and will enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Performance insights and optimisation: Analyse key business drivers to deliver actionable commercial insights to drive business performance and Go-To-Market activities.
- Performance Evaluation: Oversee planning and production of monthly and periodic business performance review reports across product verticals including variance analysis and attribution.
- Finance Business partnering: Align with Finance function on annual and monthly operating plans including revenue and opex for Sales and Marketing functions
- Cost optimization: Drive cost optimisation initiatives across sales and marketing
- Review and monitor the financial controls in the commercial functions to ensure business risk is monitored and minimised
- Budgeting and forecasting: Development of business plans with business stakeholders
- Transformation: Play a driving role in positioning the commercial team as a strategic business partner. Drive value adding insight and analytics through technology
- Lead and develop a high performing commercial finance team
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies

**Key Qualifications**:

- Full CA/CPA/ACCA status with solid experience in financial and management reporting, expense management and analysis, and financial control
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior stakeholders within sales and marketing functions and drive results in a complex organisation.
- Experience in supporting transformational projects is an added advantage
- Strong in story boarding, preparation and presentation in power-point
- Strong BI reporting and system skills (excel, SQL, SAS, Tableau for example) are an advantage
- The ability to put a concise commercial lens onto complex issues
- Passion for continuous improvement, innovation and championing change
