The HR Manager will be responsible for the successful execution of relevant HR initiatives and action plans, in addition to managing day-to-day HR processes including but not limited to, employee relations, new hire onboarding, separations, HRIS administration, payroll administration, benefits administration, and more.
The role will be the point person to lead and advise in matters relating to human resources, employment law, industry practices and will report to the Chief Operations Officer.
He/She must be versatile, independent and able to collaborate and communicate with teams and other Department Heads.
**Responsibilities**:
- Take ownership for the full HR operations for the UFIT Group
- Act as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders for successful people management.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to managers (example coaching, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Manage full employee life cycle phases including recruiting and staffing, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits and succession planning.
- Ensure all payroll are accurate and precise.
- Set and manage HR policies, reviewing existing policies periodically as well as providing guidance and interpretation, ensuring compliance.
- Maintain a thorough understanding and knowledge of legal requirements to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Participate in the development and implementation of improvement projects and strategic change initiatives.
- Any other ad-hoc duties when required.
**Requirements**:
- Able to thrive in a changing, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent knowledge of HR laws and regulations, labour law and compliance.
- A high degree of business sense and creative thinking.
- Preferably to have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar capacity working in a Group level position managing 5 or more entities
- Comfortable with multitasking and has the ability to work under pressure.
- Self-driven, structured and detailed oriented.
- Forward-thinking and analytical with business understanding and influencing skills.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Demonstrate excellent working relationships with decision makers and with staff.
