**About the job**
We are seeking a motivated Programme Manager to lead our community programmes at Generation Singapore. This person will lead the end-to-end operations for our community programmes, which includes our first all-women employment initiative - #SheEmployed, working closely with colleagues from learner support, employer engagement, marketing, and mentorship functions with a potential to directly impact the lives of hundreds of Singaporeans struggling to enter the workforce. This will initially be a contractual role with a high likelihood of extension based on performance and project outcomes.

You will be part of Generation: You Employed, Singapore a local charity with a mission to create meaningful career pathways for people facing barriers to employment. We are an affiliate of Generation:You Employed, a global network of non-profit organisations working on a mission to bridge the gap between education and employment systems to prepare, place and support people into meaningful jobs that are otherwise inaccessible. Generation was created in 2014 to help bridge this gap—at speed and scale. Till date, Generation has supported more than 60,000 people of all ages across 17 countries to get into career-launching jobs. Our placement rates are one of the best in the market at nearly 82% of all Generation graduates securing full-time jobs within 90 days from completing the program.
We are able to achieve high employment outcomes as a result of a robust demand-led methodology to design and deliver profession specific skilling programmes that lead to employment. We’re building proof that this training creates real business outcomes for employers, and lasting career impact for trainees—so everyone has the incentive to invest in skills. Our goal is to help our learners achieve personal and professional success—and fundamentally change their life trajectories. Generation programmes prepare unemployed or underemployed people of all ages, for jobs in four sectors: healthcare, technology, retail/sales, and skilled trades.

- Passionate about Generation’s mission to prepare, place and support people into life-changing careers that were otherwise inaccessible
- Significant work experience managing high-impact customer-facing projects, preferably in a not-for-profit or an adult-education/training environment
- Reasonable understanding of the skilling landscape in Singapore with some exposure to the barriers jobseekers face while looking for work
- Entrepreneurial, adaptive to changes, resilient and innovative mindset that takes ownership for targets, and seeks opportunities for improvement/growth of the program
- Professional demeanour, excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail and data-driven decision making skills
- Open-minded and open to frequent feedback from learners and the leadership team
- Positive, solutions-oriented attitude, drive for excellence and ability to be a team player
- Ability to work against tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment to achieve the program targets and objectives
**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:
**What you’ll do**:
You will lead the programme office for all our community programmes. Key activities include:
- Creating and maintaining a programme workplan; holding regular programme review meetings with all internal stakeholders and preparing progress updates/reports for the leadership and funders
- Managing all training partner relationships part of our community programmes and overseeing their onboarding, capability building and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality delivery of our programmes
- Overseeing the end-to-end operations for every cohort (typically 25 learners)
- Design and execute the learner recruitment strategy, collaborating with the Learner Success Associate and the marketing team
- Ensure timely preparedness of instructors, training infrastructure and internal resourcing required to support every cohort
- Support the LSA to design and execute a learner support plan (including mentorship) throughout the programme to ensure sustained learner well-being and their preparedness for placement
- Support the Curriculum & Instruction team to troubleshoot instruction related issues from time and time and ensure adherence to Generation’s delivery quality
- Manage relationships with our employer partners and coordinate placement activities for graduating learners
- Oversee the collection and analysis of learner data throughout the programme lifecycle in adherence to PDPA rules
- Lead troubleshooting of learner or employer issues throughout the programme in close collaboration with the Programs team
- Conducting a 360-degree evaluation at the end of each cohort to identify key interventions and changes required to improve programme outcomes
