Porsche Singapore is offering a vacancy as Senior Specialist/Manager, Data Privacy and Compliance within the Legal and Compliance Team

Tasks

Data Protection Officer
- Provide in-house advice on privacy, including but not limited to consent management, privacy by design, data-sharing, privacy impact assessment, etc
- Be the main point of contact within the organisation for staff members, regulators, and relevant public authorities on issues related to data protection
- Draft, negotiate and review any commercial agreement containing protected information
- Evaluate the existing data protection framework to identify and rectify gaps and risks, and also implement and manage Porsche privacy management system
- Design, update and manage company policies and making sure that they are in compliance with the relevant data privacy laws
- Promote a culture of data protection across all units of the organisation
- Devise and conduct trainings on data privacy

Compliance
- Develop, implement and manage overall GRC (Governance Risks and Compliance) initiatives that transition into operational workflows (policies and procedures)
- Enforce regulations in all aspects and levels of business as well as provide advice and guidance on compliance matters (including but not limited to data privacy, antitrust, anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, human rights, etc.)
- Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control, the dissemination and analysis of new or revised laws and regulations
- Research on compliance issues (including but not limited to data privacy, antitrust, anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, human rights, etc.), review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training
- Assess the business’s future ventures to identify possible compliance risks
- Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously, and conduct compliance audits and examinations
- Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate
- May involve in a business process improvement projects, as and when required
- Promote a culture of compliance across all units of the organisation

**Qualifications

**Qualifications***
- Extensive experience in data protection and legal compliance of at least 5 years
- Familiarity with applicable data privacy laws, in particular the Personal Data Protection Act of Singapore, and a fundamental understanding of the EU General Data Protection Regulations
- Excellent written and spoken communication in English
- Professional of high ethical standards and work diligently to complete their duties keeping in mind business acumen and the objectives of the organisation
- Analytical, with excellent problem solving and project management skills
- Self-driven team player, strong interpersonal skills and presentation skills
- Certified compliance professional is a plus
