You will be a part of HPB’s Performance & Rewards Department, which focuses on HPB’s diverse workforce to deliver on desired performance and behaviours aligned to HPB values. You will develop, implement and review progressive HR policies and initiatives in the main domains of Compensation and Job Evaluation.
**Responsibilities**
As a key member of the Performance & Rewards Department, you will be involved in the areas of Performance Management & Compensation:
Compensation:
- Review and implement holistic and effective compensation strategies that are attractive to retain talents from different staff segments (from both generic and non-generic schemes) while ensuring proper salaries alignment to reflect internal parity and competitiveness against respective market benchmarks for HPB schemes of service.
- Conduct annual salary competitiveness review and ensure accuracy and timeliness of annual and periodic compensation exercises; working and establishing close partnership with counterparts from parent ministry, Public Service Division etc.
- Manage job evaluation needs of the organisation, e.g. including project/ vendor management, reviewing and providing advisory on job roles, organisation structures and conducting job evaluation.
Performance Management:
- Conceptualise the implementation of communication and engagement plan for the use of functional competencies for appraisal across the Board.
You will also have opportunities to be exposed to cross-functional areas of work (e.g. supporting annual ranking & promotion exercise) within Performance & Rewards team.
**Requirements**:
Join us if you are a dynamic and self-motivated individual with at least 6 years of experience in compensation, policy review and job evaluation, and enjoys working in a highly matrixed, fluid and fast-paced environment. You should also possess:
- Relevant qualifications or experience in human resource management or related discipline.
- Highly analytical, possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, and demonstrates professionalism and integrity in handling confidential matters.
- A strong team player and demonstrates respect, care and concern when handling staff matters.
- Agile and comfortable with digitalisation and working with systems in keeping pace with the innovation and dynamic work environment
- Highly resilient. Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
