**THE ROLE**

You will be running the most strategic insurance and insurtech projects of Hyphen Group. This role will manage digital, technology, operational or commercial projects across 6 markets. To be successful, you need to have a good understanding of how to set-up, manage and drive initiatives in a traditional or agile environment. Key tasks include set-up of milestone plans, financial and commercial reports, governance and proactive communication with stakeholders.

You will also work closely with the regional insurance and insurtech team and manage various projects that will not just challenge your current know-how but will help to grow your leadership and build a culture, strategy and vision for the strategic projects organisation.

**ABOUT YOU**

We are looking for a Strategy leader to help foster Hyphen's customer first mentality by establishing our Customer Insights and Go to Market Strategy function. Reporting directly to the Head of Insurance, this dynamic team leader will be responsible for developing customer, brand, and market insights that form the foundation of Hyphen's insurance growth and marketing strategies.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Foster Hyphen's customer-first mentality. Link customer, brand and market insights to growth and marketing strategy by defining the target user, what they care about and how we can best address their unmet needs.
- Lead establishing foundational insights for marketing and the organization at large - grounding the business in brand health, perception vs competition and industry trends.
- Design, coordinate and execute both qualitative and quantitative research that is best suited to generate actionable insights across brand, product and growth roadmaps.
- Forge a strong cross-functional relationship with product and user experience teams with the goal to elevate user needs and identify areas in the customer journey that will shepherd future innovation and growth.
- Play a critical role in defining Hyphen's brand purpose. Define what makes Hyphen unique and differentiated, and how Hyphen can be brought to life through insightful positioning and bold, impactful plans.
- Drive Hyphen's master brand strategy. Collaborate with product, marketing and creative teams to bring the brand vision to life and develop a messaging framework that all teams can build from.
- Identify tensions and opportunities that Hyphen can play a meaningful role in, and translate to sharp, inspiring actionable briefs.

**SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS**
- 8+ years of strategy or marketing experience delivering insights
- 5+ years of leading a customer insights function
- Foundational experience learning in a top-tier brand company
- Demonstrated success defining and executing a learning agenda that drove meaningful brand and business growth
- Demonstrated business impact working on a top tier consumer brand
- MBA or similar qualification
