Manager, Training
**Job Purpose**
- The Manager, Training will be responsible for the planning, coordinating, and managing of the Vocational Qualification Programme training of new and incumbent staff. You will also be involved in:
- Developing bite-sized learning/ training and digital resources
- Validating curriculum and courseware
- Continuous improvement of training programmes
**Responsibilities**
- The duties and responsibilities of a Manager, Training are as listed below.

- Perform the programme manager role, coordinate the delivery of training programmes and courses, and where required, also personally deliver some of the training.
- Develop and enhance the team’s capability in the areas of emerging learning technological trends, workplace learning, advanced pedagogy, skills-based curricula, and integrative assessment.
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis and develops comprehensive training solutions aligned with stakeholders and organisational goals.
- Ensure timely update of the latest SOPs and essential work information into the relevant courseware.
- Responsible for the quality assurance and validation of curriculums and courseware contents.
- Design and develop digital learning resources for blended, self-directed, and bite-sized learning.
- Manage courses and e-learning packages in the Learning Management System.
- Manage a pool of qualified adjunct trainers to facilitate the delivery of training programmes.
- Evaluate course feedback to identify areas of improvement and enhance training effectiveness.
- Take on ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned.
**Qualifications & Work Experience**
- Degree in any discipline with minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in training and development roles.
- ACTA-certified with good knowledge of SkillsFuture initiatives and Skills Frameworks.
- Experience in the instructional design process with working knowledge of adult learning concepts and techniques.
**Skills**
**Technical skills include**:
- Good analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong in project management, information management and creative thinking.
- Good understanding of Kaizen, Lean management, and design thinking.
- Preferably with some experience in teaching and facilitating.
**Generic skills include**:
- A team player who is a fast learner, has an open mind-set, collaborative, highly dependent, committed, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills in handling diverse situations and manage individual differences.
