Singapore HPB Health Promotion Board Full time

You will be a part of HPB’s School Health Outreach - Parents & Caregivers (P&C) department which aims to advance health promotion efforts by going upstream to engage parents-to-be, parents and caregivers to help them adopt positive health habits for themselves and their children.

**Scope**

As a key member of Parents & Caregivers (P&C) team, you will have to be comfortable wearing many hats. Your job responsibilities will include:

- Strategise, develop and execute P&C’s strategy and workplan by working closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Support the team in formulation of P&C’s workplan
- Forge and develop strategic and sustainable collaborative partnerships to champion health promotion initiatives to address identified health needs and issues within the community
- Plan, implement and evaluate health promotion strategies and activities with stakeholders.
- Support the reporting and preparation of materials to update HPB’s senior leadership on the progress, learnings and achievements of key programmes, activities, KPI etc.
- Manage and improve the processes (e.g. vendor management, delivery of programme, evaluation process), and coordinate with team members in the management of programme.
- Analyse information, data and ground insights to assist the team in identifying trends, needs and gaps, and formulate strategies, create compelling narratives and solutions.
- Drive the quantitative and qualitative data strategies in P&C, including data gathering and analysis on the existing efforts such as programmes, operations, and outreach activations to inform opportunity, address gap areas to improve outreach efforts.
- Collaborate with other agencies to understand specific target segments that contribute to audience analysis.
- Lead the programme development and adaptation of mental well-being programme and messages targeting specific population segments, and use insights gathered to enhance message delivery.
- Ability to perform data analysis and provide insights on the trends and opportunities for growth areas
- Strong ethical standards and a high level of integrity to adhere to regulations and compliance
- Good organisation skills, being able to think objectively and able to mulit-task
- Good project management skills with experience preferred in ideas curation and execution, and programme management for the required target audience
- Competencies in engaging and managing vendors, partners and stakeholders
- Good negotiation/influencing and conflict management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills

The individual should also be able to:

- Work independently, be proactive and make decisions on tactical actions, in consultation with the team, including procurement, budgeting, operations, and vendor management as part of the day-to-day operations of the programmes that the department manages
- Be a good team player who can work closely with other internal and external partners to make a positive change for the health of the children and youths
- Be meticulous and open to learning.
